Mega Empires: The West can be played with 5-9 players. The game is situated on a map that covers Europe, North Africa and Asia Minor. The game has a lot of interaction between the players due to the central role of the Mediterranean Sea, which can be crossed by ship. The playable civilizations include the Egyptians, Romans, Minoans and Celts.Typical Civilization Advances are Calendar, Philosophy and Pottery.
