Article 1 – Definitions
Website (hereinafter: “Website”): mega-empires.com.
Party responsible for processing personal data (hereinafter: “the controller”): Colossus Games, established at Hendrik Zwaardecroonstraat 144, 2593 XW Den Haag, The Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce number: NL92418465. The legal representatives are Mr. F. de Haan and Mr. G.J. de Haan.
Article 2 – Access to the website
Access to and use of the website are strictly personal. You will refrain from using the data and information of this website for your own commercial, political or advertising purposes, as well as for any commercial offers, in particular unsolicited electronic offers.

All brands, images, texts, comments, illustrations (animated) images, video images, sounds and all the technical applications that can be used to operate this website and more generally all the components used on this website, are protected by the laws on intellectual property. If you use the contact form on our website, we collect your name, email address, and message. This information is sent directly to our email address and is not stored elsewhere. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiries and do not save it after responding.
Article 8 – Newsletter
You can register for the Colossus Games newsletters. When you register, your name and email address will be processed. This data is processed because you actively provide it to Colossus Games yourself (legal basis: consent). Your data will be deleted immediately as soon as you decide that you no longer wish to receive newsletters.
Article 9 – Your rights regarding information
You have the following rights regarding your personal data (in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679:

To exercise said rights, please send your request to Colossus Games. We will evaluate your request as soon as possible and at the latest within 30 days. If we cannot fulfill your request, we will always let you know why your request has been rejected. We are entitled to verify your identity, by requesting the presentation of a valid identification document, driver’s license or passport, when you make such a request. In this copy, black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy.
Article 10 – Legal obligations
In case of infringement of any law or regulation, of which a visitor is suspected and for which the authorities require the personal data collected by the collector, they will be provided to them after an explicit and reasoned request of those authorities, after which these personal data do not fall anymore under the protection of the provisions of this Privacy policy. If any information is necessary in order to obtain access to certain features of the website, the controller will indicate the mandatory nature of this information when requesting these data.
Article 11 – Collected data and commercial offers
You may receive commercial offers from the collector. If you do not wish to receive them (anymore), please send us an email. Your personal data may be used by our partners for commercial purposes. If you do not wish this to happen, please send us an email. If you encounter any personal data from other data subjects while visiting our website, you are to refrain from collection, any unauthorized use or any other act that constitutes an infringement of the privacy of the data subject(s) in question. The collector is not responsible in these circumstances.

The collected data are used and retained for the duration determined by law. Order data (invoices and financial administration) for the purpose of the legal administration obligation of the tax authorities – for at least 7 years. After this period the data will be deleted or anonymized.
Article 13 – Commercial website linkage and sales
Our website contains affliate links to the commercial website aresgames.eu, which handles all sales transactions. Colossus Games does not sell products directly and is not responsible for any damages or undelivered products or additional costs resulting from purchases made on aresgames.eu. Any inquiries or issues regarding sales should be directed to Ares Games.
